The RS2423+/RS2423RP+ is a 12-bay 2U NAS built for small-to-medium businesses and branch offices that need cost-effective, reliable file management and backup, with easy expansion to 24 bays. Built-in 10GbE and SSD caching keep performance solid as workloads scale. It is the lowest-priced model in the RS range with 10GbE fitted as standard rather than as a PCIe add-on, which makes it the natural step up from the 8-bay RS1221+ for sites where network throughput is the constraint. The RP variant adds dual redundant power supplies.
