The Supermicro SuperServer SYS-522B-WR is a high-performance 2U Wide I/O (WIO) rackmount server optimized for AI, enterprise storage, and cloud computing. It supports up to 8 hot-swap 3.5" SAS/SATA drive bays (or 4x 2.5" PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe/SAS/SATA + 4x 3.5"/2.5" SAS/SATA) and up to 5 PCIe 5.0 expansion slots. Powered by a single Intel Xeon 6 processor with up to 86 P-cores/172 threads or 144 E-cores (350W TDP), it supports up to 2TB of 6400MT/s ECC DDR5 RDIMM across 8 DIMM slots. Storage includes 2 M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 slots for RAID-enabled boot drives (VROC supported). Networking is handled via dual 1GbE RJ45 LAN ports and a dedicated BMC IPMI port.
