Product Overview
The Dell PowerStore 500T is the entry point of the PowerStore Gen 2 T family, a 2U all-flash NVMe unified appliance handling block, file, vVol and container workloads on a single platform. Each appliance carries two active/active nodes driven by 2 Intel Xeon CPUs totalling 24 cores at 2.2GHz, with 192GB of memory. Unlike the larger models it uses no NVRAM cache drives — write caching runs through internal DRAM — which frees four extra slots for data, giving a maximum of 97 drives across the base enclosure and up to three expansion enclosures. It is the only model in the family that operates on 100-240 VAC single-phase power, making it viable in environments without 200V distribution, and it is ENERGY STAR certified.
