Tier 0 enterprise storage in half a rack. The Dell EMC PowerMax 2000 scales to two PowerBricks with end-to-end NVMe, up to 2TB of cache per Brick and roughly a petabyte effective — mission-critical data services at prior-generation pricing.

The Dell EMC PowerMax 2000 is the entry point into the prior-generation PowerMax family, a mission-critical NVMe array delivering enterprise data services and high availability in a compact footprint. It scales from one to two PowerBricks, each containing an engine with two directors, packaged software, cache and 24-slot NVMe drive array enclosures, with two 12-core 2.5GHz Intel processors per Brick and cache options of 512GB, 1TB or 2TB DDR4. Capacity starts at 11 or 13TBu and grows in Flash capacity pack increments to approximately 1PBe, or up to 1.2PBe with global inline compression and deduplication enabled, all within half a standard 19-inch rack. Open systems only, with up to 64 front-end ports per system and support for third-party racks. Well suited to organisations wanting genuine Tier 0 storage economics on the secondary market.
