Disaggregated block and file storage at midrange economics. The HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 scales compute and capacity independently — 2, 3 or 4 controller nodes, up to 16 JBOF shelves, 15TB to roughly 5.8PB — all managed from the GreenLake cloud console.

The HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 — ordered as the Alletra Storage MP 10000 chassis plus controller nodes — is HPE's disaggregated, scale-out block and file storage platform, positioned to deliver mission-critical capability at midrange economics. It is built from composable building blocks: compute nodes, capacity shelves (JBOFs) and switches, allowing performance and capacity to be scaled independently rather than in fixed increments. The 2U chassis holds two nodes connected by a passive backplane and, in switchless configurations, up to 24 small form factor NVMe SSDs alongside the controllers. Switched configurations move all NVMe capacity out to JBOF expansion shelves and support 2, 3 or 4 controller nodes with 16-core or 32-core options, delivering up to twice the performance of the switchless models. Capacity scales from 15.36TB to roughly 5.8PB across up to 16 JBOFs without disruption, and the platform is managed through the Data Services Cloud Console on HPE GreenLake.
