The HPE ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 is the first DL380 in a 4U chassis, engineered with an ultra-scalable architecture for enterprise AI inferencing at scale. Powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors (6500 and 6700 series) with up to 144 cores at 250W, it supports up to ten cutting-edge double-wide GPUs or sixteen single-wide accelerators, with validated options spanning NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition, H200 NVL, H100 NVL, L40S, L20 and L4. Thirty-two DIMM slots carry up to 4TB of HPE DDR5 Smart Memory at 2TB per processor, and PCIe 5.0 runs throughout for I/O bandwidth. Three independent power domains, two of them dedicated to the GPUs, deliver power efficiently to both the system and the accelerators, and Direct Liquid Cooling is supported alongside the standard air-cooled design.
