Product Overview
The HPE MSA 2060 is the mainstream model of the MSA Gen6 family, a 2U flash-ready hybrid array positioned for small and remote office deployments that need real throughput without a dedicated storage administrator. It doubles the host connectivity of the MSA 1060 to eight ports across two active/active controllers, and is available in both SFF and LFF base chassis with 16Gb Fibre Channel, 10GbE iSCSI, 10GBASE-T iSCSI or 12Gb SAS models. HPE rates it at up to 395,000 IOPS — around 80% faster than the previous MSA generation. Capacity scales through up to nine drive enclosures over 12Gb SAS to a maximum array capacity beyond 7PB with the newer self-encrypting SSD media, across two storage pools of up to 1PB each. Smart Choice bundles ship with factory-integrated drives and transceivers for a complete solution out of the box.
