Four professional GPUs at the desk. The Dell Precision 7960 Tower runs a 56-core Intel Xeon W-3400 with up to 4TB of DDR5 and up to four 300W cards including the RTX 6000 Ada — Dell's flagship tower for generative AI development, rendering and simulation.

The Dell Precision 7960 Tower is Dell's flagship single-socket tower workstation, replacing the dual-processor Precision 7920 and aimed squarely at AI development and professional graphics. It runs a single Intel Xeon W-3400 series processor with up to 56 cores and 112 threads at up to 350W, using an 8-channel memory architecture across 16 DIMM slots for up to 4TB of DDR5. Its defining capability is graphics density: up to four 300W NVIDIA or AMD professional cards, including the NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada 48GB, which Dell positions for generative AI development at the desk. Storage is hybrid and front-serviceable, with 8 bays in the optical-drive configuration or 10 without, up to 8 M.2 NVMe drives across front and rear FlexBays, and a maximum of 152TB. The system is ISV certified, EPEAT Gold registered, and carries Reliable Memory Technology Pro.
