The Dell PowerEdge R760xa is a 2-socket, 2U air-cooled rack server purpose-built to scale acceleration across a broad range of workloads — AI/ML/DL training and inferencing, digital twins, render graphics, and virtualization and VDI graphics. It supports up to two 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (up to 56 cores) or up to two 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (up to 64 cores), both with optional Intel QuickAssist Technology, alongside 32 DDR5 DIMM slots supporting up to 8TB RDIMM. Its front-facing accelerator design improves cooling and supports higher-TDP cards, accommodating up to 4x 400W double-width PCIe Gen5 GPUs or up to 12x 75W single-width cards, with support for PCIe GPU adapters from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel on one platform. Storage scales to 8x 2.5" SAS/SATA/NVMe at 122.88TB or 6x E3.S Gen5 NVMe, with up to twelve PCIe slots and optional Direct Liquid Cooling for higher-density deployments.
